Greetings form SOJAHUR – INDIA Mother NGO, Pondicherry I take great pleasure in introducing the Society for Social Justice and Human Resource Development – SOJAHUR – INDIA, a voluntary non-profitable organization. It has registered it 15th year of existence with about 1000 General Body Members and 9 Executive Members drawn from all walks of life, Advocates, Doctors, Engineers, Scholars, Professors, Teacher, Business and Social workers are Members of the General Body.
The area of operation of the Society covers villages in the Union territory of Pondicherry and in the state of Tamilnadu. The Society is actively promoting Developmental Programmes for the welfare of the rural poor and downtrodden with a special emphasis on Women and Child Welfare. The Society for Social Justice and Human Resource Development is a registered body, Registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 (Act No.XXI of 1860 ) and its Reg. No.126/92 dated 21.05.1992 and also it is registered under Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1970 and its FCRA No.285130056 dated 20.05.1998.
Our Project
We have adopted 40 villages of Mannadipet Commune, Villianur Block, Pondicherry and we also adopted 30 villages of Kandamangalam Block, Villupuram District, Tamil Nadu.
Activities
We are doing various activities for the development of the poor and drain trodden people in the rural village. But we have a brief note of the very important activities of our organization as follows
